Workshop description: Let's prioritize teacher self care & SEL so that we can effectively care for our students Social Emotional Learning. Once we have our air mask on, we can integrate SEL seamlessly into our lessons for our students with CASEL's 3 SEL Signature Practices.

Desired Outcomes:

1) Participants will explore some free apps/tools/websites for self care (meditation/yoga/walking) and explore how to leverage these tools to set boundaries during a time where home and work have blurred together.

Facilitator: Ed Campos

Ed Campos will be the instructor. Ed currently works as an Independent Education Consultant and Math/Computer Science/Ed Tech Consultant with Kings County Office of Education in the Central Valley of California. He taught high school Math and Computer Science for over 15 years in the San Joaquin Valley where he was instrumental in creating a model 21st century math learning space that allowed his students to express themselves, present, and teach their peers in a multitude of ways. He has a passion for travel, technology, and for empowering underrepresented students and colleagues with the skills and knowledge that make the classroom more fun and effective.
